Shana Kiser, Counselor

Hello Students & Parents! 

I'm excited to join the counseling department at Oakwood Intermediate. This will be my first year as a school counselor. I have recently earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I've been a fine arts teacher and dance director for 8 years with both middle school and high school students. 

Through dance I have been able to find my passion for counseling and mental health. I believe every student deserves to feel  valued and empowered to succeed. I aim to help our students navigate challenges, learn healthy ways to cope and reach their goals both academically and personally. I look forward to meeting all of you and working together to have a wonderful year!
