Principal's Message

Dear Oakwood Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to another year at Oakwood Middle School. Whether you are joining our Wildcat family for the first time, or returning for another year, please know that we are honored to partner with you in your child's educational journey.

At Oakwood, our commitment extends beyond academics. We strive to create a school where every student feels known, valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. We believe that strong relationships are the foundation of student success, and we are dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

One of my greatest priorities as principal is building meaningful connections with our families. We know that when schools and families work together, students thrive. I encourage you to stay engaged, ask questions, share feedback, and connect with us throughout the year. Whether through attending school events, volunteering with our incredible PTO, communicating with teachers, or simply reaching out when you need support, your partnership makes a tremendous difference.

Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to provide engaging learning experiences, maintain high expectations, and ensure that every student has opportunities to discover their strengths and pursue their passions. Together, we will help our students develop the confidence, character, and skills they need to be successful both in school and in life.
